QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY WEEKEND BY FLIN.

We have just had  Queen's Birthday Weekend.   My Family went to the Aquatic Centre.   We went Swimming  there.  We went in the lazy river I  bought lego. It came with motorbikes.  We stayed at  home and I played lego with RileyB.   It was a three day Weekend.  I am going to be a fireman when I grow up.

I made a kite.   My kite did not fly but my mum came and I felt special so thanks mum for helping me fly my kite.   It was fun running mine and Zoes  did not fly.   We had fun running.   That's ok.

Room Four made kites as part of a technology challenge.  We followed a design process to determine what materials we would need and how we would go about making them.  We invited all our parents and friends to come and watch us fly them!

Sometimes  Michelle comes to teach us swimming but sometimes our teacher teaches us swimming.   We love going swimming as you can see in the picture.

TODAY is Purple Cake day.  We get to wear purple clothes.   I brought my purple unicorn.  She is very fluffy.  I love Purple Cake day.  It is such fun.

At Handwriting we do our best work.  We use the Interactive White board and we do sentences.  At Handwriting we do spacing and size.  We have  to do A1 quality and we get a stamp and then we go back to our  desks.  Then we read at our desks.

DAILY WRITING BY RILEY

When we do daily writing we use the Interactive Whiteboard and we get to choose a sentence with Mrs Howie.  On Friday we have free choice.  We have to do A1 quality work.  When we have finished we rule off.  When we have finished the sentence we do with Mrs Howie we do our own.
